The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This role offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and local government developments, while gaining exposure to a wide range of structural materials and design approaches under the guidance of senior engineers. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to delivering practical, innovative solutions in a flexible work environment.
What you'll do:
- Support the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions across infrastructure, industrial and government projects
- Apply engineering fundamentals under the guidance of experienced senior engineers
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians across our national structural team, gaining exposure to a wide range of project types and expertise
- Prepare calculations, models, drawings and technical documentation
- Develop your technical, communication and project delivery skills through mentoring and hands‑on project involvement
- Work within a flexible, supportive environment that encourages learning, growth and continuous improvement
What you bring:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in structural engineering design
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Exposure to structural analysis software (SpaceGass preferred, others welcome)
- Willing to step outside comfort zone and embrace new challenges
- Team‑focused, proactive and professional approach
