Field Service Engineers / Maintenance Technicians

Pinstripe Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of automation and identification technology to hire Field Service Engineers and Maintenance Technicians to join a growing national team.

💼 About the Role

This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you’ll be responsible for servicing high-speed production and packaging lines—installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial coding and marking equipment. You'll troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and software systems, deliver onsite support and training, and play a key role in keeping Australia's essential manufacturing sectors moving.

✅ Includes travel and participation in a rotating on-call/weekend roster

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission equipment such as CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA, LCM printers
• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Support customers with technical training and ongoing service
• Collaborate with internal sales and account teams
• Maintain accurate service records and asset databases
• Identify growth opportunities within assigned service zones

🧰 What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years' experience in field service, maintenance, or automation
• Trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics
• Strong problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
• Exposure to industrial printers or packaging line systems (advantageous)
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel
• A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills
