Accountant - CA Business Services Firm

Our client provides quality tax compliance, auditing and accounting advisory services and has a philosophy of putting their clients first.

The firm is now looking for a motivated accountant (junior accountant through to senior accountant level) to join their team and service their SME clients.

You will be:

•                Friendly and a great communicator (accounting is not just about numbers, you must be able to actively engage and communicate with your work colleagues and clients)

•                Adapt and eagerness to utilise technology in your role including MYOB and Xero

•                Able to work as part of a team and autonomously

•                Able to demonstrate that you have 2 plus years’ experience as a minimum working within an Australian Public Practice

•                Degree qualified

•                Looking to pursue CA or enrolled

The job responsibilities will include: -

•                Preparation of IAS/BAS returns

•                Preparation of income tax returns and accounts for HNW clients, companies, trusts, Self-Managed superannuation funds and sole-traders

•                Preparing accounts and work for self-managed super funds

•                Liaising with third party stakeholders and agencies such as ATO, ASIC and State Revenue offices.

•                Providing assistance in researching a range of taxation matters such as income tax, capital gains, GST, international tax and state-based taxes
