As a Field Application Specialist, you will act as the technical and scientific expert, supporting customers through training, troubleshooting, and application guidance.
Working across Sydney and surrounding areas (with travel as required), you will partner with laboratories and clinicians to ensure optimal product use and deliver a high level of customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and application guidance to customers
- Deliver training programs, workshops, and in-service education sessions
- Support assay validation, troubleshooting, and results interpretation
- Collaborate with sales, service, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Contribute clinical and technical insights to support product positioning and strategy
- Build strong relationships with laboratories and clinicians through regular engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting through CRM systems
About You
You are a confident communicator with strong scientific knowledge and a passion for supporting customers in a technical environment.
You will bring:
- A Master’s or PhD in Immunology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant industry, research, or application support role
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel as required
