The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the growing multidisciplinary team based in Sydney.

Working alongside experienced clinicians, you'll deliver person-centred, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to individuals with complex support needs across a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioural support assessments
  • Develop high-quality Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirements
  • Deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions
  • Provide services across clinic, home, community and school environments
  • Support children, adolescents and adults with complex support needs
  • Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators and other stakeholders
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful client outcomes that improve quality of life and community participation

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at Proficient level or above
  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles and frameworks
  • Experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • A calm, patient and solution-focused approach
  • Genuine passion for supporting people with disability and their families
