About the Role

As the Administration Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while delivering a professional and welcoming experience for clients.

Working closely with both clients and the accounting team, you'll coordinate client communications, appointments and enquiries, assist with client onboarding and engagement administration, prepare documentation, manage workflow and electronic records, and provide general practice administration.

You'll also help maintain a professional office environment by ensuring client meeting and refreshment areas are well presented, and assisting with the day-to-day presentation of the office.

About You

You're an organised, proactive and personable administration professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional service. You have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and enjoy taking ownership of your work while contributing to a collaborative team.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in an administration, client services or office support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn

Experience working within a public practice accounting firm or professional services environment will be highly regarded.

A Certificate III in Business Administration (or similar) and at least two years' experience in an office environment will be viewed favourably. Experience with practice management software, client portals or an interest in social media management would also be an advantage.
