IT Manager

A well-established suburban legal firm in the Sutherland Shire, is looking for a proactive, hands-on IT Manager with 2+ years experience who’s ready to take ownership and drive improvements.

This role is perfect if you enjoy:

✅ Working directly with decision-makers (including our Managing Partner and Finance Manager)

✅ Using your initiative to streamline processes and increase efficiencies

✅ Relieving pressure from a busy partner so she can get back to her core role – lawyering!

✅ Juggling a wide variety of projects – from AI innovations to anti–money laundering systems

What you’ll do

• Own the firm’s IT strategy, systems, software and facilities
• Troubleshoot daily issues, onboard new users, and keep security tight
• Lead upgrades, rollouts, and vendor management
• Reduce reliance on external consultants – become our go-to IT expert
• Induct and train staff, keeping everyone confident with tech
• Keep your finger on the pulse of IT trends in the legal sector

What we’re looking for

• Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications
• Hands-on IT support experience with strong troubleshooting skills
• Confident communicator with excellent documentation skills
• A growth mindset – always curious and up to date with new tech
• Someone practical, people-focused, and ready to get involved
