Are you a driven and skilled mechanical technician with a passion for cutting-edge technology and customer service?

My client is seeking an enthusiastic Field Service Technician based in Sydney to support their growing service team where you will play a key role in installing and maintaining world-class machinery across Australia and New Zealand. My client supports customers in the food and beverage industry with innovative solutions for filling, packaging, recycling, intralogistics, and digitalisation. They provide comprehensive sales and service support across the Asia Pacific region.


As a Field Service Technician you will:

·       Install and commission mechanical equipment and complete production lines at customer sites.

·       Perform mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled preventive maintenance on complete process, filling, and packaging systems.

·       Identify and resolve technical faults, working closely with internal experts as needed.

·       Handle machine components and tools safely in line with WHS standards.

·       Liaise with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

·       Accurately complete service reports and documentation, and communicate key feedback.

·       Assist with spare parts identification and coordinate with the internal parts team.

·       Uphold safety, compliance, and Krones’ high-quality service standards.

 

The successful applicant must have the following:

 ·       A Mechanical Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.

·       At least 2 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry (experience with blow moulders, packers, or palletisers highly regarded).

·       Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Australia, New Zealand, and overseas.

·       Previous experience in multinational or cross-functional team environments is a plus.

·       Strong English communication skills, especially in technical reporting and documentation.

·       A current driver’s licence.
