This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded, client-centric practice with deep roots in the local community and a diverse range of quality matters — without the need to commute into the CBD.
The Opportunity
Working from the firm’s Southern Shire office, you will be responsible for the day-to-day carriage of family law matters, providing high-level legal services to a broad and loyal client base. There will also be some exposure to estate planning and estate administration matters.
Reporting directly to a Partner, you will:
- Manage a varied family law caseload including parenting matters, property settlements, financial agreements and divorce applications
- Assist in the preparation of Consent Orders, Applications, Affidavits and Court documents
- Engage in negotiations, mediations and, where required, litigation through the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
- Take proactive ownership of files from commencement through to resolution
- Maintain strong, professional communication with clients, colleagues and external parties
- Draft clear, precise correspondence and legal documents in plain English
The firm operates with clear structure and expectations, ensuring transparency, support and accountability across the team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
