Intermediate and Senior Accountant - Public Practice

Whilst attending to the tax compliance function for their business clients the firm has developed a niche service offering to provide tailored solutions to minimise business risk, protection of business and personal assets and the achievement of tax efficiency.

Due to their success and continued growth, they are looking to fill 2 roles:

·       Intermediate Accountant (must have 2 - 3 years of experience)

·       Senior Accountant (must have 3+ years of experience)

You must have:

Experience working in an Australian public practice environment and have excellent English written and verbal skills.

·       Be ready to manage and deal directly with your own clients? – All roles within this firm are client facing and interacting.

·       Enjoy working with a variety of people and businesses?

·       Love sharing your professional expertise to help people succeed?

·       Degree qualified

·       Be commercially savvy

You will be hands-on as you apply accounting principles to:

·       Prepare financial reports for all entity types

·       Prepare and review all tax documentation for various client types - BAS, IAS, FBT, GST, etc

·       Attend to payroll tax reconciliations and workers comp audits

·       Prepare monthly management reports for clients

·       Attend to tax and accounting recommendations for clients

·       Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

·       Preparation and review of taxation advice

·       Attend to financial modeling as and when required

·       Resolve accounting discrepancies.

·       Interact with government bodies, financial institutions, and auditors as and when required
