This is your opportunity to join a world-class organisation that designs, installs, and maintains advanced materials handling systems used by major manufacturers and distribution centres worldwide.

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping equipment running smoothly — performing installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance work. You’ll also support project delivery, customer service, and continuous improvement initiatives while working alongside a talented and supportive technical team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently — collaborating with the broader service team when needed.
  • Respond to customer callouts, providing expert service, maintenance, and occasional training on-site.
  • Support project delivery alongside the Service Manager and subcontractors to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Prepare accurate service reports and maintain tools, equipment, and a high standard of site safety.
  • Contribute to assembly and production projects when required, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met.

What You’ll Bring

  • Trade qualification in Fitting & Machining (or similar).
  • Restricted electrical licence and/or PLC experience highly regarded.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience reading AutoCAD 2D/3D drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and solid organisational and planning skills.
  • Safety-focused with relevant tickets (forklift, working at heights, confined space, etc.) an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and flexibility to travel locally and interstate as required.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Join a respected global company known for reliability, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Work with cutting-edge automation and conveyor technologies in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
  • Enjoy variety — from hands-on technical work to customer interaction and project support.
  • Competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and genuine career development opportunities.
