Due to continued growth, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior / Executive Liability Loss Adjuster to join their Melbourne team.

This role will suit an experienced liability adjuster looking to focus on technically challenging work, build strong client relationships and work within an environment where expertise, initiative and commercial acumen are recognised and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex liability claims from instruction through to resolution

• Investigate claims involving property damage and personal injury

• Assess liability, causation, indemnity and quantum

• Conduct site inspections and interviews with claimants, witnesses and relevant stakeholders

• Gather and evaluate evidence to determine claim outcomes

• Prepare clear, timely and technically sound reports for insurer clients

• Liaise with insurers, brokers, legal representatives, insured parties and service providers

• Negotiate settlements and recommendations where appropriate

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery

• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to business growth through referrals, repeat instructions and new opportunities

• Travel as required throughout Victoria and occasionally interstate

About You

• 5+ years' experience in Liability Loss Adjusting

• Strong technical expertise in liability claims involving property damage and personal injury

• Current AICLA membership

• Excellent investigation, report writing and stakeholder management skills

• Commercially minded with strong relationship-building capability

• Ability to work autonomously while delivering outstanding client outcomes

• Passion for technical excellence and professional service
