Your Role Includes:
- Advising on legal matters involving builders, subcontractors, developers, and consultants
- Providing phone-based advice to members
- Assisting with litigation in NCAT, District Court, and Supreme Court
- Advising on and negotiating a range of construction-related agreements
- Working closely with external Counsel on contested matters
- Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to shape optimal outcomes
What You Bring:
- 3-4 years PAE with strong construction law experience
- Expertise in contract law, the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW) (SOPA), the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW) and a general understanding of construction disputes
- Confident communicator with a client-first approach
- Strong letter drafting skills, with an eye for punctuation and grammar
- Current Australian practising certificate
A Competitive salary based upon candidates’ skills, qualifications and experience is on offer ($120,000 - $150,000)
