Your Role Includes:

  • Advising on legal matters involving builders, subcontractors, developers, and consultants
  • Providing phone-based advice to members
  • Assisting with litigation in NCAT, District Court, and Supreme Court
  • Advising on and negotiating a range of construction-related agreements
  • Working closely with external Counsel on contested matters
  • Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to shape optimal outcomes

What You Bring:

  • 3-4 years PAE with strong construction law experience
  • Expertise in contract law, the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW) (SOPA), the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW) and a general understanding of construction disputes
  • Confident communicator with a client-first approach
  • Strong letter drafting skills, with an eye for punctuation and grammar
  • Current Australian practising certificate

A Competitive salary based upon candidates’ skills, qualifications and experience is on offer ($120,000 - $150,000)
