THE OPPORTUNITY:

In your role as Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for the tendering of medium to large-scale projects ranging from $20K - $50M+. You will collaborate with our Project Managers, Marketing and other estimators across PHE to prepare and win tenders.

You will have significant involvement and ownership in preparing tender documentation and presentation to our clients in line with PHE Policy and Procedures.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop a track record of success in winning tenders.
  • Evaluate bid specifications, review plans, drawings and formulating an overall pricing/scheduling strategy.
  • Compile quotes and subcontractor pricing.
  • Follow through on all tender feedback and constructing new tenders.
  • Work with the Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and specifications.
  • Build and foster relationships with new and existing clients.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 3+ years in electrical industrial estimating
  • Solid understanding of the electrical contracting industry.
  • You will have a high level of commercial awareness and exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced organisational skills together with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer Excel skills in the development and maintenance of databases and spreadsheets.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Projects, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Electrical Licence or Engineering degree (desirable but not essential)
