THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are seeking safety and quality conscious Trade Assistants / Spotters to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO opportunities available. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. 

In this role you will;

  • Complete an infrastructure project on an underground crusher
  • Assist in the installation of ventilation systems, including ductwork, fans, and air handling units.
  • Aid in the assembly and installation of ductwork, ensuring proper sizing and connections.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of ventilation fans, motors, and associated components
  • Assist in gathering and organizing materials needed for electrical projects.

ABOUT YOU: 

  • Previous underground mining experience
  • Previous experience as an electrical TA
  • Committed to maintaining our safety culture
  • Flexible attitude to work with all our crews
  • Is able to pass a full medical and fitness test

The successful candidate will have:

  • C class driver's license
  • High-Risk Work License – with WP
  • White Construction Card
  • Working at Heights (current within 18 months)
  • Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check
