THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking safety and quality conscious Commissioning Electricians to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
In this role, you will:
- Energise systems progressively in a safe, controlled manner.
- Verify instrumentation and control systems wiring against P&IDs and I/O lists
- Conduct functional testing of electrical equipment and instruments.
- Calibrate and prove safety interlocks, emergency stops, earth leakage devices, overloads and trip functions.
- Support dry and wet commissioning phases (no-load and load tests).
- Maintain accurate commissioning records, as-built documentation, green lines and test sheets for project handover.
ABOUT YOU
- 2 years' experience in a commissioning role
- Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner
- Work well in group problem-solving situations
- Previous commissioning experience
- Mining or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred but not essential for this role
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- Certificate in Instrumentation
- Current Electrical License
- High-risk work License (with WP class)
- Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
- Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
- Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
- White / Blue Construction Card
