Electrical Supervisor - FIFO

THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster at an underground mine site. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent.
  • Leading a Team of Leading Hands and Electricians
  • Lead by example for all Safety on site
  • Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities

ABOUT YOU 

  • Have a great attitude

  • Excellent Leadership in Safety
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role
  • Previous underground mining experience
  • Mining Supervisor (G1,G8,G9) desirable and not essential
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams, Excel
  • Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
  • Quality Management experience
  • Budget management experience

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • SA Electrical License
  • High-risk work License (with WP class) desirable, but not essential
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) desirable, but not essential
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
  • White / Blue Construction Card
