PHE Power and Infrastructure is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent, full-time basis. We encourage candidates from across Brisbane and surrounding areas to apply.

The successful candidate will be provided with a fully maintained work vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.

Based in Eagle Farm, PHE’s Brisbane operations undertakes small- and large-scale project work for iconic clients throughout Brisbane and South-East Queensland. In this role you will take complete control of the success of the project. You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client. 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

  • Managing all aspects of the project on-site including, constructions schedules, SEMPs, inspection and test plan, Outage plans,
  • Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed by the Client and General Manager, 
  • Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required,
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology,
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities,
  • Organising manning levels and associated requirements,
  • Coordinating with the client on all work fronts, weekly progress meetings and reports.
  • Ordering of all materials and management of all subcontractors involved, contract compliance.
  • Attend site as required for meetings and outages.

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful you must hold the following license and tickets:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • QLD Electrical licence
  • Working at heights (Completed in the last 18 months)
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
  • White / Blue Construction Card

The following are desirable but not essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Hold a High-risk work License with WP classification

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Self-starter with a great attitude towards safety
  • Enjoy problem solving and working collaboratively with others
  • Excellent Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Minimum 3 years proven capability and experience in all aspects of Project Management
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams, Excel
  • Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
  • Quality Management experience 
  • Budget management experience
