Senior Linesperson

PHE High Voltage is building its overhead line delivery capability from the ground up and we need an experienced Linesperson who's ready to do more than just deliver the work. If you've got the technical credibility, the crew respect, and the drive to take ownership, this is the role that puts you in charge.

You'll lead the establishment of our OHL field function by building the team, setting the standard, and delivering real projects across Australia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Building and leading a capable, safety-focused OHL field crew from the ground up
• Planning and managing overhead line and distribution projects end-to-end
• Developing the systems, workflows, and documentation that make delivery run smoothly
• Supervising, mentoring, and developing linespeople and apprentices
• Managing daily site execution, labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, and progress
• Engaging with clients on site and helping identify and secure new work
• Ensuring every job is delivered safely, on time, and to specification

ABOUT YOU:

You don't need a project manager title on your resume. You need runs on the board in the field and the hunger to lead. You bring:

• Significant hands-on experience as an OHL Linesperson in power systems distribution
• Experience leading or supervising field crews, formally or informally
• Solid knowledge of overhead line construction, maintenance, and augmentation
• The ability to build systems and discipline in a growing operation (not just work within them)
• Confidence dealing with clients and stakeholders on site
• Willingness to travel across project locations in Australia

YOU'LL HOLD:

• Cert III in Power Systems Distribution Overhead (required)
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card (required)
• Relevant electrical authorisations and high-risk licences for the work scope
• Switching, EWP, dogging, rigging or plant competencies (highly regarded)
• Supervisory or frontline management qualifications is a bonus, not a barrier
