Line CaptainOn-Site

A P&G Line Captain will be responsible for:

• Ensure production quality meets specifications
• Communicate issues to supervisor and area manager
• Ensure line is running efficiently
• Provides mentoring to leads, promotes mentoring of staff
• Makes work priority list for personnel for utilization of time/capabilities.
• Coordinate the flow of products through the department
• Manage the quality, availability and affordability of the product line
• Assign workers to line positions as per play sheet, rotate workers throughout shift
• Manages all production line functions and resources to meet quality, cost and schedule
• Make sure workers are performing duties according to play sheet
• Communicate with supervisor to improve line performance
• Help admin perform changeover procedure
• Work on line only to temporarily cover position if required
