A P&G Analytical Manager will be responsible for:
- Demonstrates expertise (understanding of technical fundamentals/practical application) in their analytical / knowledge area via in lab experimentation.
- Actively works with R&D business partners and / or Discipline contacts to define project needs.
- Develops technical plans, strategy, and resourcing proposals to meet program needs (whether as project SPOC or in-lab contributor) with limited input from manager / technical coach.
- Translates these interactions into in-lab experiments that solve problems, provide insights and advance projects.
- Recognizes and finds creative solutions to technical roadblocks using technical training and understanding of product chemistry relevant to their area.
- Brings internal (within/outside their technical area) and external resources to bear on problems, and seeks input as required from manager/technical coach for priorities by identifying potential issues and ramifications on timings.
- Demonstrates ability to work across Disciplines/functions and able to work through others.
- The Analytical Manager applies best practices to improve work flow processes.
- The Analytical Manager acts as administrative supervisor for analytical associate s team. Provides daily coaching for associates (goal setting and daily task setting), provide corrective action coaching to associates and meet with clients.
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
- They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow.
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
- Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
