The Opportunity:
This is a max-term opportunity till June 2027, based in East Perth with full-time hours.
In this hands-on role you will provide practical, site-based safety leadership and assurance across our Heritage listed building Re-roofing and Shop Redevelopment projects. You will support the safe delivery of construction activities within a live operational, public-facing, and high-security environment. You will monitor high-risk work, oversee contractor safety performance, verify critical controls, manage project interfaces, and help protect employees, visitors, and contractors by proactively identifying and escalating unsafe conditions.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive safety professional with demonstrated experience providing safety advice and assurance within construction environments. You will have a strong understanding of high-risk work activities and the ability to influence safe work practices across multiple stakeholders.
You will bring:
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher relevant qualification.
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and First Aid Certificate.
- Incident investigation training, such as ICAM or an equivalent methodology.
- Permit issuing training.
- Desirable qualifications in working at heights, confined space entry, auditing and asbestos awareness.
