THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in advancing Gold Corporation’s commitment to reconciliation and creating meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Working closely with employees, leaders, community representatives, and external partners, this role will coordinate the delivery of our reconciliation commitments with a strong focus on employment, development, retention, and inclusion outcomes.
A key focus of the role will be identifying and supporting opportunities that increase participation and employment outcomes for First Nations peoples, including the development of pathways early-career talent. Through strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement, the role will influence and collaborate across the organisation and community to enhance outcomes for First Nations employees and help foster a workplace where culture is valued, respected, and celebrated.
ABOUT YOU
This role will suit a experienced First Nations professional who is passionate about creating meaningful employment, development, and career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
You will bring demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to build strong, respectful relationships with First Nations employees, leaders, and stakeholders. A genuine understanding of First Nations cultures and communities, together with the ability to apply this knowledge in a workplace setting.
The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing programs that support employee development, career progression, and sustainable employment pathways. Equally important is the ability to provide guidance, mentoring, and culturally informed advice to leaders and employees, helping to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where people can grow and succeed.
