This is a full-time fixed term opportunity for twelve months – with the potential to extend beyond the initial engagement period, contributing further to our ongoing transformation. This opportunity is based in East Perth.
Your role as a Solution Architect:
- Ensure the correct application of architecture principles to solve problems and opportunities of the business, including the creation of supporting architectures, solutions, patterns, standards, and practices
- Lead the planning, definition and design of solutions and explore solution alternatives, ensuring the bigger picture context and architectural direction is considered
- Responsible for the creation of design artifacts such as concept architecture, solution architectures and design patterns as needed by the project or change initiative
- Establish strong and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, project delivery, application, and technology teams
- Act as the single point of contact for all architecture concerns relating to projects and initiatives, ensuring architectural compliance
- Facilitate the architecture governance and compliance framework, ensuring project compliance with enterprise standards
- Review and refine target-state reference architectures against the enterprise technology architecture, technology strategy or business changes and business strategy
- Collaborate with the Business Technology Leadership Team and technical leads to define the roadmap from current-state to target-state according to these reference architectures
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline or relative industry experience
- Demonstrated experience across architecture disciplines including cloud
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
- Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions in a Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics365, CE, CRM, POS, Customer Insights and Azure Integration Services
- Experience modelling to the ArchiMate standard
- Experience with FinTech solutions (desirable)
- Data, privacy, and security design literacy (desirable)
