ABOUT YOU
Your role as a Analyst Strategy and Planning
- Contribution to the development and periodic refresh of the enterprise strategy, ensuring up to date scanning of environmental and market conditions, stakeholder expectations and long-term growth objectives.
- Coordination of the annual business planning cycle, integrating business unit plans with strategic outcomes, initiatives and the requisite resource (eg. Budget, FTE, etc) planning.
- Application of extensive business analysis skills to capture, review and analyse relevant business processes in accordance with project plans and where necessary, make recommendations for changes in operational processes or procedures and/or enhancements to relevant systems to improve efficiency in the project area.
- Support the development and improvement of policies, procedures and tools utilised for Project Management.
- Track and monitor the progress status of project initiatives, deliverables, and milestones, while preparing rapid status updates for the manager.
- Translate external market, macroeconomic, regulatory and geopolitical developments into clear strategic implications for the organisation.
- Monitor and report on strategic performance, identifying risks, gaps and emerging opportunities for executive action.
- Support capital allocation and investment prioritisation processes through collection of organisation wide information, ahead of analysis and scenario modelling.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across supporting and customer facing business units to remove barriers to success.
- Prepare high-quality strategy and performance reporting for Executive and Board to support informed decision-making.
- Follow-up and report on leadership decisions, rapid response initiatives and interventions with TPM leadership, SLT and Manager.
- Organise cross-collaboration workshops between project teams to aid information-sharing between teams and help identify areas of improvement for strategic planning, business planning, projects and practices.
- Any other duties to support the team as required
We are Looking for a candidate who has the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive experience in an analytical subject (preferably with business administration or quantitative aspect).
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a strategy / commercial / project analyst role.
- Skilled in the facilitation and connection of Enterprise Strategy to Business Planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with a wide range of people
- Understanding of project management
