In this role, you will leverage insights from global economic conditions to shape a competitive and customer-focused go to market strategy, that balances short-term margin with long-term growth in collaboration with our commercial experts. Collecting market and customer insights and aligning with the relevant governance and value-chain constraints to deliver strategy options for achieving commercial outcomes.

Reporting into the General Manager Major Projects, this is a full-time fixed term opportunity for twelve months, based in East Perth.


Your role as an Analyst Commercial Strategy will involve: 

  • Combine data from the relevant commercial stakeholders to document an enterprise level Customer and Market Growth strategy with a focus on actionable insights, risk identification, and opportunity optimisation
  • Analyse commercial performance and deliver insights to positively influence customer, contract and product development
  • Ensure all relevant enablers and constraints throughout the Corporations value chain are considered as part of the planning process
  • Build financial models to assess market opportunities and guide commercial and strategic decisions
  • Coordinate governance reviews to ensure growth strategies align with the Corporations legal and regulatory obligations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to challenge assumptions and drive performance through data-backed recommendations
  • Support development of customer acquisition strategies in collaboration with the marketing and commercial stakeholders


We are looking for a candidate who brings:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience producing strategic financial modelling
  • Experience discovering and analysing economic insights to influence outcomes
  • Proactive and focused on delivering results, even in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
