ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Process Engineer to join our Coining Division. This role will be working closely with the Manager Fabrication, driving process engineering projects to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost levels. Your experience and innovative ideas will see you leading technical R&D projects for resolving production issues and improving production efficiencies. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvement initiatives across the Coining Division
  • Identify efficiency gaps and implement solutions that increase production throughput
  • Manage the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Investigate production, quality and safety process issues and develop solutions to resolve
  • Analyse breakdowns and determine solutions to increase equipment reliability and uptime
  • Lead technical R&D projects and initiatives
  • Investigate metallurgical issues that arise during manufacturing and develop solutions to resolve

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • Extensive experience in a Refinery or coin manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
  • A background in metallurgy is desirable
