The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced laboratory professional to join our team, with an immediate start available. Based at our refinery site near the Perth Airport, this role offers free onsite parking and the opportunity to work in a highly specialised, safety focused environment where accuracy matters.

In this role, you’ll support daily refining operations through laboratory analysis of precious metals, and treated wastewaters. You’ll operate and maintain analytical instruments, carry out routine and non-routine testing, and ensure results are accurate, timely, and compliant with required standards.

You’ll be hands on with instrumental and wet chemistry techniques, contributing to troubleshooting, calibration, method development, maintaining inventory stock and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a role for someone who values integrity, precision, structure, and accountability, and who takes pride in producing high quality analytical results.

About You:

You’re a qualified chemistry professional with practical experience in laboratory analysis. You’ve worked with analytical instrumentation such as ICP, Spark-OES, XRF and auto-titrator, and can confidently operate at least two of these techniques.

You’re organised, efficient, detail focused, and comfortable following procedures in a regulated environment. You understand the importance of safety, accuracy, and turnaround times, and take ownership of your work from start to finish.

You’re also a collaborative and approachable team member - someone who communicates clearly, supports others, and contributes to a positive laboratory culture. You hold tertiary qualifications in chemistry (Bachelor of Science, majoring in chemistry or similar) and are ready to apply your skills in a role where quality and consistency are essential.
