About The Position

In this role you will be assisting with servicing, Building Facilities and housekeeping of site buildings, grounds, plant and equipment at the Perth Mint.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete daily routine rounds such as emptying cardboard cages, removing waste plastic containers, assisting with the rubbish disposal and tidy designated areas.
  • Moving of office equipment and furniture, and tidying/cleaning process areas prior to and on job completion.
  • General repairs to Doors, Walls, toilet cisterns and pipe work, training to be provided.
  • Pressure clean equipment, and painting.
  • Collection of parts and materials from suppliers.
  • General duties my require operating some hand tools, training provided.
  • Driving forklift to empty skips and move pallets
  • Complete daily work records and input relevant data on computerised maintenance management system. 

Ideally, you will have the following experience and skills:

  • Factory work / general hand/ trade assistant experience
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic with excellent time management
  • Computer Literacy
  • Valid Driver’s License

$65,000 per annum excluding superannuation
