ABOUT THE ROLE :

Our Corporate Affairs Team at The Perth Mint is seeking an experienced Specialist Change Management professional to join their dynamic team. This new role is permanent with full-time hours offering an exciting opportunity to lead and support strategic change initiatives across the organisation. 

The Specialist Change Management will be responsible for ensuring alignment across all business stakeholders by applying structured change management principles and methodologies. The position plays a critical role in supporting smooth transitions across organisational project initiatives, helping to embed change effectively and sustainably. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will drive stakeholder engagement, manage change impacts, and contribute to building a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

In this role you will :

  • Lead and deliver change management activities in accordance with the organisation’s Change Management Framework
  • Deliver change and communication activities in conjunction with the wider Corporate Affairs team and in alignment with the internal policies and procedures for stakeholder engagement.
  • Influence, collaborate and maintain relationships with key business functions and roles to achieve optimal results including, Strategy, PMO, Major Projects, P&C, training, project managers, internal communications and marketing.
  • Monitor, track and provide insights on all change management activities and deliver clear recommendations to executive and senior stakeholders on the organisations overall change landscape, supporting informed decision making and sustainable adoption of change.
  • Co-ordinate the organisation’s Change Engagement Network to work across dependencies and ensure a coordinated approach is taken to communications, training and go-live activities.
  • Identify and document business impacts through Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), process mapping and Change Impact Assessments (CIAs).


The ideal candidate should have :

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, or related discipline and relevant change management qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.   
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformational change projects within complex stakeholder environments.
  • Government communications experience (desirable).
