Your role as a Lead Archivist will involve:
- Build and sustain strategic working relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, government
- Work closely with the Privacy Reinforcement Project team and other business units as required to ensure seamless archiving activities and address any information management related issues.
- Provide weekly reports to the Project Manager Privacy Reinforcement Project on progress to date.
- Monitor and report on the performance of archiving activities, making adjustments as required.
- Manage Record Archival team.
- Work to review existing archive boxes, files and folders ensuring information contained in those boxes, files or folders is catalogued and is captured into Content Manager.
Experience:
- Information Management Diploma or equivalent (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience applying the Principles & Standards of the State Records Act (WA) 2000
- At least 3 years archival experience and applying retention and disposal schedules
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
