ABOUT YOU

In this role you will be Responsible for assisting the business owner with end-to-end procurement and contract management processes. Help the business owner to manage supplier relationships through KPI creation, performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Your role as a Procurement Specialist :

  • Support the Procurement Manager and Senior Procurement Specialist with all upstream procurement activities - including leading sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP, closed tenders), evaluating supplier offers, contract negotiations, KPI development, performance review milestones and contract drafting.
  • Support the proactive review, renewal and monitoring for all ‘Buy’ contracts. Work closely with end users to understand service demands and constraints for current contracts.
  • Work with the Procurement Manager to ensure that the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concept and approach is embedded across all of the organisation’s procurement activities.
  • Support the Procurement Manager in ensuring that there is compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as compliance to all relevant Government and public sector policies.
  • Lead procurement training sessions for internal participants as required 

  

EXPERIENCE 

  • Demonstrated experience withing a Procurement / Contract role
  • MCIPS or working towards (preferred)
  • Understanding of the application of WA Procurement Act 2020 (preferred)
  • Proven negotiation skills
