THE OPPORTUNITY :

We are looking for someone to play a key role in supporting the Corporation’s privacy and data protection functions. In this role, you will coordinate information requests from teams across the business, particularly those linked to privacy and data protection impact assessments, and help maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of processing activities. Keep momentum high by following up with stakeholders to ensure information is delivered on time and that all records remain current and reliable. You will also be supporting the delivery of privacy advice across the organisation, including checking that process and procedural changes affecting individuals’ privacy have been implemented correctly, taking take ownership of essential record‑keeping responsibilities, ensuring documents relating to privacy assessments, data subject rights requests, information requests and other required materials are stored appropriately in line with the State Records Act.

 In addition to the above, you will support and contribute to a range of ad hoc privacy and data protection tasks — gathering information, supporting updates to policies and procedures, maintaining records, and managing email correspondence — helping to ensure the Corporation’s privacy operations run smoothly and effectively.

ABOUT YOU :

Ideally have over two years of customer service experience in the financial, government, or similar sectors, supported by strong administrative capability, polished interpersonal and written communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively across teams, excellent time‑management and multitasking strengths, confident conflict‑resolution and negotiation skills, exceptional attention to detail, and solid computer literacy that enables you to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
