Your role as a Business Analyst will involve:
- Proactively engage with business to define and articulate requirements for major projects including services and/or enhancements in current IT services/applications.
- Analyse financial, customer, transactional and market relevant data to gain insights.
- Ensure strong relationships are developed and maintained with business stakeholders and expert analysis and advice is given in relation to business processes and relevant financial, transactional, inventory or customer related data.
- Apply extensive business analysis skills to capture, review and analyse current business processes in accordance with business plans and where necessary, make recommendations for changes in operational processes or procedures and/or enhancements to relevant systems to improve efficiency in the study area.
- Support delivery of major projects initiatives by ensuring outcomes are met through testing and reviewing developing solutions.
- Working with the team to assist in the preparation of detailed project schedules and estimate of resources required and details of the proposed solution.
- Provide analytical support for both pre-feasibility and feasibility projects.
- Produce high level and detailed design models in response to changing business requirements.
- Evaluate costs and potential benefits of recommended solutions and document it in a manner appropriate for business use.
- Act as a point of reference for the team on projects during the life of the project.
- Work with the team to ensure projects deliver solutions that comply with the business architecture.
- Work collaboratively with vendors encouraging innovation and creativity while identifying solution options.
We are seeking a candidate who has the following:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, with a track record of delivering insights and solutions that drive business outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build effective relationships across all levels
- A natural inclination for analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and translate business needs into actionable outcomes
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
