The Perth Airport team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Manager Organisation Development.


What you'll do:

As a key member of the People and Culture team and reporting to the General Manager People and Culture, you will play an integral role in designing and implementing frameworks and initiatives that support an integrated talent management program, leadership development, employee engagement, and cultural evolution. You will provide expert advice to business leaders, ensuring the organisation is equipped with best practices in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, performance enablement, and capability development.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop and support implementation of a strategic workforce plan – critical to meet Perth Airport growth needs

·        Develop and implement strategic frameworks integrating talent management practices across the business, with a focus on succession and development planning, and performance enhancement

·        Lead leadership development initiatives to empower emerging and established leaders

·        Drive engagement programs that foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture

·        Oversee cultural evolution strategies to align with organisational values and goals

·        Design and execute performance enablement and capability development initiatives

·        Enhance the employee experience through innovative development programs

·        Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies to create a more inclusive workplace

·        Provide expert advice on implementing new initiatives and core processes to business leaders and People & Culture partners

 •     At some point in the future, lead training and development efforts across the organisation

 

About you:

·        Hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Organisational Development or a closely related field.

·        Strong leadership and known for building trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation, with a reputation for credibility, integrity, and sound judgement.

·        A forward-thinking approach with evidence-based expertise in people management best practices. 

·        Bring extensive experience in delivering strategic HR and advisory services within complex, multi-disciplinary environments. 

·        Demonstrate deep expertise in contemporary organisational design, performance frameworks, cultural transformation, and change leadership.

·        Extensive experience in HR management and consultancy within a complex business environment.

·        Possess a solid understanding of employment legislation and policy development, with the ability to apply this knowledge pragmatically.

·        Stay current with evolving best practices in people and culture and understand the commercial drivers impacting businesses.

·        Skilled in coaching and facilitation.

·        Confident in challenging the status quo respectfully, offering insights that shape leadership behaviour and organisational effectiveness.
