Perth Airport is Australia’s Western Hub connecting the people, businesses and communities of Western Australia with the rest of Australia and the world. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.
Perth Airport is investing more than $5 billion in new infrastructure so we can support our airline partners to grow, offering more services to new destinations and an improved customer experience. This will be the largest funded private equity build in Western Australia for the last 30 years.
Over the coming decade we will expand T1 International, and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel. This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia which will host all flight services in a central location giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.
The Perth Airport estate is spread over 2100 hectares and has developed a $1.5 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.
We service a truly diverse community and play an important role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Interface Coordinator to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
What you'll do:
As our Interface Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to conduit between operations and project teams, ensuring Perth Airport’s capital projects run smoothly from planning to delivery.
You’ll champion operational needs, lead airline integration for self-service solutions like CUSS and biometrics, and coordinate stakeholder engagement across terminals, airfields, and security. Your day-to-day will include managing testing phases (UAT/OAT), supporting operational readiness (ORAT), and driving business-as-usual activities like self-service software updates, airline integration and onboarding new airlines. You’ll facilitate workshops, resolve issues, and keep critical paths on track.
With a strong safety ethic and proactive risk management, you’ll help shape a seamless passenger experience while fostering collaboration across internal teams and external partners. If you thrive in dynamic environments and love connecting the dots, this role is for you.
About you:
- Experience in airport and/or airline operations with a strong understanding of integrated airport systems.
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with self-service airport technologies such as CUSS is desirable.
- Strong conflict resolution, communication, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated project management capability and ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Resilient, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive team player with a strong customer service ethic and alignment with Perth Airport’s values.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are desirable but not essential.
