We are currently looking for a Design Manager.

What you'll do:

Your role will involve developing and agreeing the vision, objectives and priorities for projects and the assessment of a projects technical and commercial viability aligned with Perth Airport’s design frameworks and processes. You will provide oversight of all aspects of the design process including cost, risk and value management, Safety in Design considerations, constraints and opportunities mapping, optioneering and feasibility studies. You will be required to engage and manage consultant teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with approved Master Plans and business strategies.

You'll challenge where necessary to ensure the best design outcomes and ensure project design is fit for purpose.

About you:

You hold a tertiary education in one of the following:- engineering, design, architecture or project management and you will demonstrate relevant experience in early stage project development, including stakeholder management, design management, safety, cost, time, and risk assessments to enable project decision making.

You are experienced in leading and co-ordinating cross-functional teams and incorporating the needs of stakeholders into the design process. You are highly detail orientated, proactive and logical in your thinking and have a collaborative working attitude. Technically you are proficient in Aconex and Sharepoint along with the Microsoft applications.
