Our team are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Trade Assistant.

About the Role: The Maintenance / Trade Assistant – Electrical supports licensed electrical workers in the maintenance and installation of electrical systems across the Perth Airport, including the high voltage distribution network, airfield lighting systems, and terminal infrastructure.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with electrical installation works
  • Support electrical maintenance, repair & replacement work
  • Maintenance of operational areas
  • Inventory, parts and consumables management
  • Airfield Works Safety for electrical maintenance activities
  • High Risk Work License – Elevated work platforms, Forklifts & Rigging/Dogging (or other)

About you:

While the below are desirable, they are not essential for the right candidate

  • Prior experience with maintenance or electrical trade support (restricted electrical license is highly desirable)
  • Competency & qualifications in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
  • Airfield works safety officer, CAT 4 Airside Driving Licence & Radio Operators Qualifications
  • Experience with traffic management and control
  • Exposure/experience using computer-based maintenance management systems (e.g. TechOne, CiA, SAP ect.)
