Our team are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Management Accountant. In this role, you’ll deliver high quality performance analysis and reporting, support key management reporting and business planning activities, and contribute to project modelling and financial insight.
About the role
- Manage the month end accounting process, delivering clear and accurate reporting for the People, Safety & Sustainability and Corporate Services teams.
- Analyse monthly financial performance, investigate major variances, and present meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reporting that highlights business trends and impacts.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting cycles, including template preparation and analysis.
- Provide support to the Finance Business Partners on business cases, reporting, analysis and budgeting/forecasting for their respective business units.
- Build strong, productive relationships with Finance colleagues and key internal stakeholders.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance or accounting.
- CA, CPA or CIMA qualified (or progressing), with a minimum of 3+ years post qualification experience.
- Strong Excel capability, with experience using Power BI highly regarded.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively across multiple stakeholders.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts simply.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to juggle competing priorities.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking and problem solving capability.
