Our team are currently looking for an experienced, diligent and enthusiastic Site Supervisor to oversee the (GTCP) Ground Transport Consolidation Project

What you'll do:

In this role as part of GTCP projects team, will be to supervise the delivery of the GTCP project on behalf of Perth Airport. The project is delivered over several separable portions in a live airport environment. The responsibility is to ensure all safety, security and environmental standards meet the Business objectives during delivery. 

Acting as the conduit between various internal business units, off and on-site teams. This role will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and issuing Perth Airports contractors’ permits, monitoring compliance against scope, assisting in management of the quality of contractors’ workmanship and ensuring stakeholder requirements are met with minimal disruption to operations. 

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for attending site inspections, toolbox meetings, undertaking audits/reviews of traffic management and monitoring construction progress on site. Collaborating with key stakeholder, project delivery team, reporting on progress and escalating matters where required.

All quality constraints are held to a high standard and the provision of leadership through the embodiment of Perth Airport’s values is key. 

About you:

You’ll hold trade certificate or relevant construction industry qualification with extensive experience in the supervision of civil & infrastructure works. You have high level of communication and conflict resolution skills with the ability to build effective rapport quickly. You’ll ensure that you promote a safe working culture and reinforce the safety standards and expectations of Perth Airport to all contractors. 

You must be a team player, who is solution driven with a professional approach. You work proactively and collaboratively with others. You gain trust quickly and can find common ground and get cooperation with minimum fuss. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the Site Supervision field, with prior large scale project delivery experience. This role will require a high-level industry and legislative knowledge and communication with all levels of employees both internally and externally to the business.
