Perth Airport is Australia’s Western Hub connecting the people, businesses and communities of Western Australia with the rest of Australia and the world. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.
Perth Airport is investing more than $5 billion in new infrastructure so we can support our airline partners to grow, offering more services to new destinations and an improved customer experience.
Over the coming decade we will expand T1 International, and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel. This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia which will host all flight services in a central location giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.
The Perth Airport estate is spread over 2100 hectares and has developed a $1.5 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.
We service a truly diverse community and play an important role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.
We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Contracts Administrator to join the New Terminal team.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you’ll be a key player in delivering Perth Airport’s New Terminal project. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of construction and consultancy contracts—ensuring everything from procurement planning to financial reporting runs like clockwork.
Your day will involve negotiating contract terms, managing claims and variations, and keeping a close eye on budgets and performance metrics. You’ll work hand-in-hand with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and maintain strong commercial outcomes.
Whether it’s reviewing tenders, supporting cost control measures, or guiding stakeholders through contract processes, your work will help shape the success of one of Perth Airport’s most exciting infrastructure developments.
About you:
You’re a confident and commercially savvy professional who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex projects. You’ll likely bring:
· A qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or construction law, with hands-on experience in contract administration.
· A solid background in managing consultancy and construction contracts, ideally within large-scale infrastructure or capital works.
· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate claims, variations, and contract terms with confidence and tact.
· A deep understanding of procurement models, financial risk, and cost control strategies.
· Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple contracts and deadlines without compromising quality.
· A collaborative mindset, with a knack for building trusted relationships across teams and with external partners.
· Clear and professional communication skills—you know how to make complex contract language easy to understand.
· A proactive, solutions-focused approach, always ready to tackle challenges and drive outcomes.
