As a key member and leader within the Investment Analytics & Risk team, this role is accountable for leading change and developing best practice approach to Investment Risk within Perpetual.

- Lead change within Investment Risk function by transforming strategic Investment Risk objectives into tangible outcomes.
- Work stakeholders and service providers to deliver on key projects supporting Investment Risk uplift.
- Driving positive change towards an Investment Risk aware culture.
- Developing and ongoing enhancements to all facets of Investment Risk monitoring and reporting, and development of Investment Risk insights.
- Implementing and maintaining a healthy “challenge and support” model of Investment Risk Management.
- Working with Investment Management teams to deliver strong investment risk culture.
- Providing lead on security modelling and analytical risk management.
What you will need to succeed:
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics or related field
- Post Graduate qualifications (Dip / Master / CFA / FRM etc.) preferred
- At least 8 years’ financial services experiences, with at least 2 years leading or as a senior member of an Investment Risk function that directly interacts with Investment Team
- Experience across multiple asset classes required. Candidates with experience in Equity, Fixed Income and Multi Asset highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders, including Investment Teams, Operational teams, and Senior Management
- Change management experience, including initiatives, and working with project teams to deliver key outcomes for Investment Risk teams highly desirable
- Experience coaching / mentoring junior team members
- Appetite to help build and develop in a rapidly growing business.
