Perpetual is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the role of Settlements Officer based in Sydney CBD.

What will you be doing?

  • Build effective relationships with clients
  • Validate and confirm trades
  • Process payments: domestic, International, BPAY & Direct Entry Files
  • Act upon Client instructions within required time frames
  • Completing daily settlement processing via CHESS
  • Respond to client inquiries relating to various services, financial products, fees and condition
  • Client Connect obligation management
  • Compliance with Policies and Procedures
  • Assisting with Client Management and liaison

What you will need to succeed:

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:

  • Demonstrated experience in settlement, reconciliation, payment and account management practices and processes
  • Proven ability to understand and execute daily transaction work with extremely high attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of SWIFT, CHESS, EXIGO, RTGS and RITS 
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills
  • Experience in treasury and retail banking functions
  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills
