About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects. This role includes managing safety, quality, environmental compliance, financial tracking, client engagement, and design coordination. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain project safety, environmental, and quality management plans.
- Conduct audits, incident investigations, and ensure compliance with WHS and isolation procedures.
- Manage QA systems, including ITPs, Lot Registers, and NCR close-outs.
- Assist with project financials: cost forecasting, progress claims, subcontractor agreements, and reporting.
- Engage with clients, attend meetings, and provide proactive solutions to maintain program and quality compliance.
- Coordinate design reviews for constructability and compliance with Australian Standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical or control systems engineering within infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage small teams and projects valued $5–10M annually.
- Strong understanding of WHS, QA, and environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with Australian electrical standards and design review processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering.
- Construction Induction Card, CPR, LV Rescue.
- Open Driver’s Licence (Manual preferred).
