About you

You are an intrinsically motivated and highly driven Project Engineer with a specialised background in building and concrete infrastructure. Joining a dynamic team, you will be guided by a project leader and given the opportunity to jump straight into project delivery.

Throughout your experience, you demonstrate effective communication and time management skills, whilst having an eagerness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge. You are passionate about your work and are fully accountable for the results achieved, being excited by the prospect of adding value to our diverse business and being a key contributor to the achievement of our growth objectives.

What you Need

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or a relevant trade
• 2+ years of experience in a similar Project Engineer role, ideally within the building/concrete/civil industry
• Confident with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
• Experience with project planning and developing work packs and methodologies
• Understanding of financial acumen, managing project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking and claims
• Sound contract administration capability including preparation of variations, EOTs, etc
• D&C experience is preferable including ability to integrate multiple designers and understand broad water engineering concepts
• Experience in the development and implementation of project safety, quality, and environmental management plans
• Experience managing junior engineers highly desired
• Willing to travel to regional project sites as required
