  • Parliamentary Service is inviting applications for a Hospitality Crew Member | Kaimahi Ratonga Wahainu to become part of our team!

Step into the Parliamentary Catering Team and help deliver outstanding hospitality experiences within New Zealand’s iconic Parliament precinct. We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused Hospitality Crew Member to provide trolley service throughout functions, meetings, and Select Committee sessions during the day.

About the Role | Mō te tūnga:

  • Deliver trolley service on the move across various Parliament venues, supporting functions and meetings.
  • Enjoy a steady, physically active role where you’ll work independently and stay on the move all day.
  • Manage your own schedule to ensure catering arrives promptly and smoothly.
  • Offer courteous, attentive service, tailoring your communication to suit the occasion.
  • Occasionally support the wider catering team with function setup and pack-down.
  • This role is perfect for someone who values a clear, consistent routine and a balanced workload.

Our team proudly showcases New Zealand’s best produce and hospitality across several venues, including Copperfields café, Pickwick’s bar, and Bellamy’s restaurant, plus catering for a variety of Parliamentary functions.

What You’ll Bring | Tō kete:

  • Hospitality or events experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work confidently on your own.
  • Experience delivering great customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards and hygiene practices.
  • Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet all day-perfect if you love staying active!
  • A team player who can also thrive working independently.
