Mō te tūnga | About the role:
The purpose of the Library Service Adviser|Kaitohutohu Ratonga Pātaka Rangahau is to manage the Library’s customer service channels and workflow to ensure a responsive research service that meets the needs of the Library’s customers.
The Library Service Adviser’s role is to:
- Provide responsive customer service and allocate and manage workflow within the Research Services team.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relations and customer service channels.
- Support reporting and analytics of Library services.
- Support outreach and promotion of Library products and services.
- Contribute to a strong customer service ethos within the Library and Engagement group.
The appointing base salary for this role is $70,609 - $77,958 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills, experience and relativity (remuneration band extends beyond the appointing salary range to account for tenure progression).

The Parliamentary Library and Engagement Group | Te Pātaka Rangahau, te Whakapāpātanga supports Parliament through the provision of trusted library, information, research, and engagement services to members of Parliament, parliamentary staff, parliamentary agencies, and the public.
