The IST Customer Experience team is the engine behind how Parliament’s technology services are understood, adopted, and improved. We’re a collaborative group that turns complexity into clarity through training, documentation, process design, and knowledge sharing. We work across IST squads, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure systems are not only delivered but embraced. Mō te tūnga | About the Role
This is a hands-on, detail-focused role where you’ll play a key part in supporting election-related IST operations. You’ll be responsible for keeping our asset, billing, and service data accurate and aligned across systems, helping reduce risk and ensure everything runs smoothly during a high-volume, fast-moving period.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be right at the centre of keeping our tech services accurate, connected, and running smoothly, especially during the election period.
A big part of your role is making sure our data stacks up. You’ll keep asset, service, and billing information aligned across systems so teams can trust what they’re working with.
This will see you:
- Running and supporting audits across hardware, assets, and systems
- Fixing inconsistencies and keeping ServiceNow and CRM records clean and up to date
- Checking billing and connection data so everything adds up, especially during Member transitions
- Managing service records end to end, from setup through to disconnections and reallocations
When the election hits, things ramp up. You’ll play a key role across every stage:
- Pre-election: getting data in shape, validating records, and preparing systems
- Election period: handling high volumes of real-time updates and changes
- Post-election: reconciling, cleaning up, and transitioning everything back to BAU
You’ll also work closely with IST, Finance, and Customer Experience, responding to data requests, supporting reportingand helping keep things moving when it matters most.

- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, CRM systems, or similar
- Ability to manage high-volume, transactional work with accuracy

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and reporting tools
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
