We’re growing our casual crew and are on the lookout for motivated, customer centric Crew Members to join our team.

Te tīma | The team

Our Parliamentary Hospitality and Events team is dedicated to showcasing New Zealand’s premium hospitality and delivering memorable experiences across a range of venues and events. From cafés and bars to high-profile functions, no two days are the same.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

As a Hospitality Crew Member, you’ll be supporting events, functions, and day-to-day service across our venues.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you could be:

  • Setting up and delivering events and functions.
  • Serving food and beverages across different environments.
  • Supporting café, bar, or catering operations.
  • Working collaboratively with a tight-knit team to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Our operation runs 7 days a week, and shifts can vary - flexibility is key. We're a living wage employer and you'll receive an hourly rate of $28.95 p/h. 

Roles available:

x1 Permanent, part time position working 20 hours per week.

x4 casual positions.

  • A customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for service.
  • The ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
  • Confidence working under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • Barista, bar tending or events experience.
  • Experience working in a café or coffee-focused environment.
