Mō te tūnga | About the Role:
As a Senior Information Adviser, you will be part of a close-knit team delivering information management within Parliament. We are on a change journey, and you’ll be involved in the transition to SharePoint Online as our Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS). You’ll strongly contribute to improvements to how parliamentary records and information are managed and governed, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Information Management: contribute to fit for purpose strategies, policies, and standards for managing parliamentary records and enterprise corporate information.
- Customer Service: Provide expert advice on information management, resolving issues, and contributing to an outstanding service reputation.
- Relationship Management: Work closely with internal customers and team members, fostering collaborative relationships and maintaining a strong, supportive team culture through a period of exciting change.
- Projects and Development: Lead initiatives or contribute to and the team’s business plan and help build improvements in information management services.
- Compliance: Monitor and audit business systems for compliance with standards, policies, and legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in information management, including expertise in taxonomies, metadata, and archival standards.
- A can-do attitude – able to contribute and hit the ground running from day one.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic and changing environment
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across a variety of stakeholders.
- SharePoint experience or familiarity will be a plus.

Please note: This is a fixed-term role. The salary range for this position is $93,167 - $102,000 per annum, with the potential for the salary to exceed this range based on skills and experience. Appointments will be made accordingly.
